Good & Mental Well-Being/ Rehabilitation Programs
An anti drug and sexual abuse campaign to raise awareness on the impact of sexual & drug abuse on young adults. With this community outreach, we are able to provide a safe and supportive space for victims to share their experiences and seek help, offer free counseling and therapeutic support to victims and their families, educate the community on preventive measures and resources available for affected young adults.
We offer skill acquisition programs in diverse spheres. In 2022 we partnered with the Edo state Government through Edo Jobs and Edo Innovates to host over 400 young adults providing requisite knowledge, practical hands on training in Photography, Content creation,Makeup artistry, Coding etc for young adults.
I’m a 200 Level student of the Institute of Health Technology, UBTH. I took advantage of the free skill acquisition training program from EdoJobs, Courtesy of the Young Community Network, & I’m currently undergoing training on leatherwork. So far, I have learned a lot of things about leatherworks, & I will use the skills acquired to support myself through school. I would like to advise others to take advantage of this opportunity & not allow it to pass them by. Thank you very much.
I’m learning to sew. My dream is to become a Fashion Designer. Before coming here, I didn’t know anything about sewing or pedaling sewing machines, but now, I have learnt how to pedal, and the practical knowledge I’m gaining will help me fulfill my dream of becoming one of the most sought after fashion designers in Nigeria. The training will end by December. I want to thank the Young Community Network and EdoJobs for this privilege and opportunity.
